Our son, A., was born on 1-1-11 at 8:00am and weighed 10 lbs 12 oz. He is now just over 9 months old and is such a joy! Thanks You so much for making our dream of starting a family, a reality. Your warm smiles always helped me to relax when sometimes it seemed nearly impossible to do so.

Dear Dr. Rakoff,I want you to know how thankful J & myself are & always have been about your professional & emotional help to us. Your determination and generosity helped us to have our 2 beautiful IVF children (well, one is almost here). Also I wanted to update you on the pregnancy – I am 31 weeks pregnant with a GIRL!! Yes! We will have one of each thanks to GOD and your help.There are many professionals out there but it is my belief that not many have offered the help you have offered to us along this 5 year journey. I would recommend you to any person who is going through this search.

Hello Dr Rakoff!!!!!!!We do have a baby! Miles was born Friday the 11th at 7:59am. He was 8lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long! He is amazing and has lots of dark hair. We are so excited to hear from you! I have attached some photos of Baby Miles for you to see! We are so in love and can’t believe he is really here!We are all doing great. Labor was actually a lot better than I thought once I got the epidural 
I pushed for about an hour and he arrived screaming in all his glory! He has already grown an inch and is a great baby pretty mellow until he wants to eat
I hope everyone is doing so great at SD Fertility! We still think of all of you frequently and talked the other day about how we almost didn’t try it again…wow.

Dr. Rakoff,I have to tell you how sorry I am it has taken me so long to write this, and for you having never met the miracle child you helped create, Christopher. I have thought of you so often since my son was born (on the same day as Chris’s husband, Steve, no less), and strangely enough, and I have no explanation for it, is usually when I am giving him a bath and am nowhere near a computer to send it. Of course, then I get pre-occupied and it leaves my mind until his next bathJ.Anyway, I wanted to thank you more than you can ever know for the significant impact and work you did for me to realize my dream of having a child. I can’t believe my son is nearly two years old. He is a precious child who is entering his terrible twos, and I find it hard to believe how fast it has gone. He is the best thing that has EVER happened in my life. I could NEVER have had this child without the hard work you, Chris, and all those involved on the peripherals did to create him. I could go on and on, but will just tell you that the work you do is phenomenal, and if you ever doubt that you should slap yourself in the face and look at my son as a reason for what you doJ.
I sincerely hope you get to meet him some day, but have attached a few pictures of him so you know how cute he turned out (I’m not biased or anything). I hope you are well, and have a great day.

Hello,
I am I.O.’s mother. She was a patient of Dr. Rakoff for a very successful fertility treatment last month. I just wanted to let you know that she had her stem cell transplant at the Scripps Green Hospital on Nov. 24.
She is on her day 15 and out of the transplant is awesome. We are all happy about it. The transplant is en-grafting very well in her bone marrow and we look forward to leave the hospital next Monday. We’ll be staying at La Jolla for her medical visit for a couple of months.
I will greatly appreciate it if you can forward this to Dr. Rakoff or hell him about this. We are very grateful with all you for your kindness and attention. I also like that you also pass along the news. Everyone was very nice and warm with us.. Thank you very much for everything you’ve done for my daughter, she says “Hi” to all of you. Things are really going better for her. Thank God she will soon be back to her normal life and the fulfillment of all her dreams.
