Dr Rakoff is a second generation infertility specialist with over 30 years of experience. He produced San Diego’s first IVF baby and IVF twins. Dr. Rakoff began his career as a fertility specialist at the Scripps Clinic, but he moved to the San Diego Fertility Center in 2009 to provide his patients with the best chances for a successful pregnancy.

The team at SDFC is patient-friendly with a welcoming staff. The facility is easy to access and the equipment is state of the art. The embryology team at the Fertility Center facilitate Dr. Rakoff’s goal– to help you have a baby this year.

We see many patients referred by physician colleagues at Scripps Clinic and Scripps Health. We also serve patients from other areas in San Diego, Southern California and other areas around the world. We provide comprehensive fertility testing and a full range of fertility treatments, the most common being IVF, or in vitro fertilization, treatments.

We are aware of the possible need for emotional support that may occur during this process. Referrals for counseling (Therapy in Del Mar) and for acupuncture (Reproductive Wellness) are readily available to patients who need them.
